Clean up the creek day
I volunteered with the local government and rotary club et al.. at a creek nearby cleaning refuse to keep things healthy. It was a nice event and was worthwhile. It was a surprisingly pretty little oasis. :)

Hey you know what, I went to California many many moons ago. Me & my cousin drove in this little Honda civic from New York, by the time we got there we had barely any money left, so we did lots of sleeping in the car/parking lots/ camping ect. It was cool because we drove from southern Cali all the way up to North. We went along that Pacific coast highway, or Route 1 or whatever they call it. But it was really cool to see how different the scenery & everything was as we went along the highway from south to north. One of my favorite things in the North was the redwood trees, they were like magical. There was this one trail where there were these branches that swooped down so you use them as swings, it was really cool

lol now I’m coloring this ‘magical forest’ coloring book because this picture & conversation. I’m kinda exited because I’m going to add fairies & stuff to the forest. Thanks for inspiring some art tonight while I’m stuck in bed. Sorry I didn’t mean to be blowin up your journal tonight lol
