"Christmas" Time...

it's that time of year again. the bright lights of white, yellow, red and green. trees being hung in the homes of loveing families, presents being exchanged by friends and lovers, and all the carols being sung by children who know no better.
to be honest; i hate it. this is one of the hardest times of the year for me. on top of work, school, and home, i gotta deal with family asking me to come over (which in my case means; come and be our waiter and listen to our long stories of ... well; who knows what their stories are.) my parents are dealing with money problems, so staying with them is a burden, not only to me, but to them. my friends are unintentionally suffocating, speaking of the holidays and their gifts and other such things, while i am just trying to let this time of the year silently pass.
it goes without notice, though, that i am ranting again, i am unsure if i should keep doing this because i feel more like i'm complaining endlessly than getting my point across.
i'll leave it at this; the only good thing about this time of the year is the concert i have on the 26th, which will leave me with out speech afterwards for a while. ... =_=
