Christmas Eve 2010
Today is Christmas Eve. I just wanted to say that yesterday when I picked up Luke at the airport him flight was delayed so i read more of my book, An Unquiet Mind, where Dr. Jamison reveled that in her undergraduate learning what was going through so much bipolar tendencies, such as the manic-depressive which in most cases is bipolar II. She told us that she failed classes and had multiple incomplete. Reading these worked from such a successful woman makes me feel like I can do anything I set my mind to. Mostly becoming a psychologist. I havent told my dad of my aspirations of becoming a psychologist mostly because I think that he would tell me it's an unrealistic dream, especially after my performance lately in college and the time it is taking me to complete all of my courses.
I suppose that I'll have to power through with it until I have some momentum to tell him. I don't think that he will disapprove, but I know how he is about money, in any way, shape or form. And I don't blame him because this graduate program will cost a pretty penny. But I think that it is going to be worth it.
Uncle Mike came over and we all had cesar salad, lasagna, cheese case, pumpkin pie, some appetizers, a lot of champaign and movies.
Oliver had to go to the hospital for severe pneumonia. Though we took him home early so that we could have him over the holidays while also making him better here at the same time. He has lots of powerful antibiotics to get him better. We administer them about twice daily with two medications from cringes. He seems to be doing better, I hope he is doing better.
