choose happy
I liked Jans reference to a young child who decided to be happy
despite a handicap. Because he "Like being happy."
An old friend had also said to me "I choose happy"
and Jan's comment brought up that memory for me.
I am getting work done here. Taking care of life...
I was down and disheveled this morning but now
getting it together.. Choose Happy! :-)

i have wondered a time or twenty if "gratitude" and "happiness" are synonyms. however miserable my current day, there is always something to be grateful for and happiness to be found in the gratitude.
now i'm wondering why i still haven't seen a "choose happy" bumper sticker. empowerment and serenity in a single elegant simplicity.
Good way to think. When I think back to rough times, I know I certainly had reasons for devastingly unhappy depression that required medical treatment. So sometimes, remembering where I was and where I am now provides me with strength to own a sense of happiness, even if I still haven’t achieved what I had hoped for. Gratitude is good.
