MANY OF YOU REQUESTED MY RECIPE FOR CHOCOLATE DUMPLINGS SO HERE IT IS... Chocolate Dumplings....Sauce - 1 ½ cup br sugar,PACKED½ cup cocoa, 2 T of cornstarch, salt, 4 cups boiling water,4 T butter stir well and bring to a boilDumplings - cream together 6T of shortening, 1 cup of white sugar, 2 eggs, 4 tsp baking powder,1 tsp. Salt,,4 HEAPING T cocoa, 2 cups flour, 1 1/3 cups of milk, 2 tsp. Vanilla, mix well. Then drop by the spoonful into boiling sauce. COVER andsimmer 20 - 25 minutes MAKES ENOUGH FOR EIGHT OR SIX IF YOU LIKE BIG HELPINGS!!
