Chiari

I was diagnosed with Chiari 9 yrs ago. It was discovered by MRI when they were trying to find out the cause for my tremors which appeared to be a complete seizure. I have been prescribed several different meds over the yrs which have been no help to me. I am also the first in my family to have this condition. I have lost the majority of my hearing, go through much daily pain with back aches, migraines, tremors, confusion spells, ear ringing and the list goes on.  My eyesight is only starting to become affected and I feel lost. I have no family doctor anymore as he only wanted to give me more and more medication and told me I had to take it! Why would I keep taking something that is not working! With my back he kept listing it as low back pain and I specifically told him it was my upper back where I felt pressure in the spine and it felt like it was going to pop out or pull apart. I told him this several times and he still put it down as low back. I am having difficulty in finding a doctor here in Calgary that will help me. I have found that most doctors here are pill pushers. My difficulties are increasing with my chiari and I am becoming discouraged. It's bad enough that I have a multitude of health problems and can't get the proper care!
