chatty again..........ruh roh reorge (remember the jetsons?)

after many days of rest i had an energy pocket. 

so after a quiet morning i started doing my chores.

feel whipped but hold that sense of accomplishment.

so far:

tidied bed linens

load of laundry going, now in dryer

restocked cat litter container in garage.  this is VERY HARD to do. 

trash collected,taken to curb

brought in mail/opened/sorted paperwork/filed in monthly receipts.

dishwasher going

vacuumed bedroom

recharging vacuum so i can do the living room and kitchen later

blew off front sidewalk and porch, now clear of sticks & leaves

other general miscellaneous chores along the way.

whew......no wonder i'm tuckered out!

Tomorrow is New Crown at the Dentist Day, must be there by 2 pm. 

About my birthday, it was nice......Sara & hubby Derian took me to the theater, Sam met us there......we watched the 50th Anniversary of My Fair Lady, it was wonderfully charming, very witty and I really loved it!  Then Sam brought me home, this is a THREE  HOUR event, so it was good to be back home!

The kids got me a device for my TV so I can stop paying for Dish.  Turns out my TV is a new enough Smart TV that I didn't need the device after all........I didn't know and feel foolish, but now we know and they get the $$$ back so good all round!

I plan to call Dish to cancel in March, but tonight I will use it to view the OSCARS.......something I love to do!  Wish I had someone to watch with......gotta have wishes to hold onto!

I spoke with a dear friend, her name is also Ruth......we've were work colleagues and always good friends.  There were some big surprises regarding changes in the workplace, hard to take it all in, it was a real shocker.  Still shaking my head in disbelief.....on the upside, I asked if they have any positions and yes, they do.  Sara will be contacting them on Monday to set up an interview.  I don't know if this will appeal to her or not, but the benefits are AWESOME, so I am sort of hopeful that this will be a good fit.....but then I also hope she will approach her Dad's company as well and interview with him......I see good things for her either way.  She also had an interview with a floor covering company, which is tripping me out a bit as well because I used to work in the floor covering industry as well......in both Texas & California.  Pray she will find a good position and quickly.......

It is so warm out that I turned off the furnace for the day.  It feels like a blustery but warm and sunny spring day.......if I could open the windows I would.....I don't have the hand strength to open them, but this is that kind of day........where you want the fresh air to run through the home to make it fresh and windswept.....and least I would really love that........I can't leave the doors open cause I can't run.......why RUN?  Cause if the cats run out, I can't give chase, and that would be BAD.  They are indoor kitties only.....so there you go.

I ordered kitty food on Thursday and it was delivered on Friday.  Seemed like magic....to get it so fast.  I watched the man deliver it then forgot about it completely.  Yesterday I had to drag it through the house......push it with my feet and cane.....it was a struggle, but I got it to the garage.  Rested, then later opened the carton and stocked kitty product.  LOL.....I am my own little stock clerk. 

I found a deal on it......36 cans at 34 cents each so I got 4 cartons of 36......Rio & Mia are set on chow for a good while!

Meanwhile I'm jonesing for Chinese food.....but to tired to go get some.
