Channeling Erik

Sisters, I HAVE to share something with you!! "The Afterlife of Billie Fingers", a book, kept coming up on my facebook pages and in other ways...I mean continuously...at the time I was not really interested in the book, but I have learned to follow the leads put before me. So I went to Amazon to order the book and another book came up suggested. "Channeling Eric, conversations of a mother with her son in the afterlife". It grabbed me, you know what I mean, don't you??? So I ordered the book as well but continued looking into whatever information was available. Turns out, Erik's mother has a blog she has worked on since 2010, when she lost her son from suicide...with a gun...You can go to the page, just google Channeling Erik. She recommends you read the short back story then go to the archives and start reading from the beginning, which is what I did...I mentioned before that I am spiritual, but not religious...it all started many years ago. I went into my public library and a book caught my eye, "Conversations With God". I read it and was filled with joy...finally, FINALLY...everything made sense...I didn't have to fear the fire and brimstone I had been taught...my God, our God, is all-loving. The book was considered "New Age"...this was in the 90's. Funny how it was termed New Age when so much information was taken from the oldest eastern religions. I have read many, many books since then...much more since I lost Cassi, of course. It broke me, I needed real guidance...I was led to this page, Channeling Erik. Maybe some of you will be too. Just as I was led to it I was led to post this information...please be prepared, you must have an open mind...because it echos so many of my own personal beliefs it was not the least bit shocking to me, but I can see how a staunch conservative Christian might recoil in horror, even though, truly, it is about love...all love, how we are all the same...one thing that TICKLED ME PINK was the fact that our loved ones get to keep their personalities in the hereafter, just without all the negative baggage. Erik is irreverent and potty mouthed, just like my Cassi...that makes me so happy...just so happy!!!

Grateful you followed that nudge and it\'s truly amazing how these books come our way when we truly can gain so much from them. I remember one day early on this path and I was at the library and a book literally fell off the shelf and I picked it up and when I went to check it out they said that it had already been taken off the shelves and they weren\'t sure how it made it\'s way back, yet they GAVE me the book.

I know that our children retain their personalities because my son has. His sense of humor and fun it still in full swing and to know that is such a comfort, isn\'t it?!

Thank you, Gina, for sharing...

Loving care,
XO Joanie

Hi Gina. I think Cassi is giving you nudges!
I am so glad you are finding books that speak to you. I am very open minded so I will be following up.
When I was in Ottawa last week, I stayed with my daughter\'s best friend. She had just seen a medium. She went to hear from her husband but asked about Lisa. She was concerned because Lisa had not \'come through\'. He said \"Oh she is fine but she is playing with the children\". It meant a lot to both of us. Lisa loved children. She threw the most awesome birthday parties for Cevyn, If there were children around, she was the one down on the floor playing with them.
Lisa\'s sense of humour is also intact. She surprises me. She winked with noisy Loons. I love the sound of loons. She made sure I didn\'t miss them - I heard them in a distance and they got closer - she sent two over my head. And they were noisy! Lisa often comes as noisy birds!
Thanks for sharing your learnings. That is what FMO is all about - being here for one another.
Love and hugs,
Marlene

to you and to books and whatever other means that will lead us to an understanding (well, maybe never on that one) and ACCEPTANCE. I always go back to that one and sorry I know it is hard to accept, but I don\'t think that I could move on if I had not accepted what happened and get past the \"what-if\'s\", \"what did I do wrong\", etc and now embrace the signs that my grief would not allow me to. I saw the signs early on but at the time, they hurt me so much. Now, I welcome every litttle wink.
Peace.

I am so happy you \"stumbled\" upon these books and the blog for Erik\'s mom. I truly believe like you that our children retain their personalities and I know that my child(Erick) will always be my child that loved to laugh and have fun with me. I have had my share of nudges and winks from my son but sometimes it hard to see them through the grief...I keep looking though and will never stop, none of us should ever stop watching for them.
Hugging you, Vera

: )

Kala most definitely is STILL Kala!!! Her personality shines through her communications with me, and with others!

Like you, I am a very spiritual person.....religion \"can\" get in the way sometimes. And like you, I read SO many books in the beginning....titles that made my family shutter (and pray fervently for me...LOL!)...which were all about connecting and BEing in the LOVE energy of our children.

Happy reading! Continued healing!
