Changing meds

I saw my Rheumotologist today, and he has heard back from the Urologist that it will be safe to start Methotextrate and that it will not affect the kidney tumour adversely.
So, here we go again on another ride in this roller coaster life. Hopefully, the RA flares will settle down somewhat over the next few weeks so that I can get some control over my life again and be able to do some of the things we'd planned for this year - nothing big, just little driving trips etc., a few days away here and there, doing a casual day of work every so often. I shouldn't complain because I do realise that so many people here are doing it tougher and I really feel for you. But - I didn't envisage that I would spend my first years of retirement at doctors, pathologists and Radiology practices.
I'm not going to let RA beat me. I need to be strong for the next "hiccough" I face with the kidney tumour. Thnk you, all my DS friends. Your support has helped so much when I start to feel sorry for myself.
