CHANGE OF DIAGNOSIS

WELL, MY DEAR FRIEND'S SON WHO HAS CANCER HAS HAD MORE NEWS. HE WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE THE AMPUTATION YESTERDAY FOR THE OSTEOCARSINOMA. BUT THE DIAGNOSIS HAS CHANGED. HE IS NOW DIAGNOSED WITH B-CELL LYMPHOMA, NON-HODGKINS. I HAVE NOT TALKED TO MONICA, THE MUM, SO I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS BETTER OR WORSE.I AM SO....WORRIED FOR HIM AND OF COURSE, FOR HER. I WILL LET YOU KNOW MORE AS I GET INFO. I HATE TO CALL AS SHE IS TRYING TO WORK AND IT JUST GETS HER UPSET.
I AM FEELING SOMEWHAT BETTER BUT NOT TOTALLY MYSELF. I AM WALKING THE RAZOR'S EDGE. I HAVE LITTLE ENERGY OR INTEREST. EVERY LITTLE THING SEEMS LIKE A HUGE CHORE. THAT IS JUST NOT ME. WELL, ALL I CAN DO IS USE MY LITTLE TRICKS AND HOPE IT PASSES QUICKLY.
I'LL BE IN TOUCH.

Of course each case is different but if memory serves at all I think the B-cell lymphomia has a better survival rate which would be good news for them if that is the correct diagnosis THIS TIME.
What would worry me is IS IT RIGHT? This is just not something you want to be screwing around with.
Besides prayers my only real advice is for him to avoid ALL SUGAR in every form. Cancer is the number one sugar junkie.

Sorry you are feeling bad. The only thing that helps use beepers is knowing it won\'t last forever. I hope your friend\'s son is doing better. I agree with GeorgiaW about which cancer is worse. My customers daughter survived B-cewll lymphomia which I think is the same as large cell. I am not sure. I better read up on the remark GW made on cancer being the # one sugar junkie. That is scary when you live on sugar. Hope you have a safe week end. I never remember what holidays we celebrate together, not that it matters we celebrate together anyway. Love Naomi xo
