CHANGE

October 2, 2009:  Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.....  I am trying!  I seriously have, what I believe, an enemy at work.  No, I am not delusional.  It is the same person I have mentioned in other journals.  This time, after an incident with a student, she accused me, based on hearsay, of breaking confidentiality!  I would never, ever, do that!  As a result, I have been removed from my regular position of working with the autistic kids.  Now I will be in the general classrooms helping those who are struggling.  I don't have a problem with what I will be doing.  But, the autistic kids have truly been my salvation!  I love that job.  I may or may not get to go back with them.  It is all being "investigated".  Amazing how one person can turn your world upside down based on something they were told.  I cried all day, yesterday!  I have not hurt this much since Scotty and Melissa passed away.  That is how much it means to me!  I met with my principal and did manage to correct some things he had been mis-informed about.  We will see...  Obviously I am making a long story, short. My husband did remind me to look at this a different way.  The person causing the trouble for me will no longer have me as a scapegoat.  So, when things get messed up, tasks aren't complete, etc., there can be no fingers pointed at me.  And trust me, these things will happen.  This incident has lit the fire under me to complete my book.  That may not go anywhere but if it does, maybe I can make enough money to tell who I want, to go you know where!  On a better note, Christopher's surprise party was a success.  There weren't a lot of people in attendance but there were enough to have a nice time.  It was great to have some of his friends over. Remember when I wrote about the Extreme Makeover house down the road from me?  Well, that show will air this coming Sunday, Oct. 4.  Of course many of you got a sneak peek in my photos so it will not be such a shock.  I am eager to see the inside. I was off work today!  Yea!  I really needed the day off after yesterday.  Craig and I met, for a pizza buffet, after he got off work.  That was nice.  I do love my pizza! Please say a prayer for Scott's friend Kenneth.  He has been in a coma since July 11 due to a car accident.  He is breathing on his own, is now in a long term care facility, and continues to fight.  I love this kid!  He was one of Scott's pallbearers and one of the kids that continued to come visit.  He is also a friend of Adam's but would even visit me when Adam wasn't home.  This has sure brought up a lot of "stuff" in me.  I just don't want to lose another young person or see another mom join this awful "club" of wonderful people!
