CFS is irrelevant
I pronounce on all my DS friends, God's richest blessings for 2016.
- I bless you with physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
- I bless you with improved relationships and joy in your day-to-day lives
- I bless you with PEACE
Coming out of my post-holiday crash but not brain fogged. CFS IS IRRELEVANT! I've set my intentions for 2016 and none of them include being free from CFS. This is my victory for 2015.
I've finally come to a place of PEACE regarding my journey with CFS.
Yes, CFS shut down my life. CFS cost me my job. CFS had me close to or in bed for 8 months out of 2015. Yes, CFS has profoundly impacted my life. I spent a lot of time cursing all the things that CFS had taken from me.. until I realized that perhaps I had surrendered all these things to CFS. Because the disease does not have the power, I do.
I started 2015 exhausted but desperately hanging onto my job. I hoped that in truth I did not have CFS and all I needed was more time to recover from major surgery the prior year. I asked God to just allow me 1 year of stability to pull my life back together. By February I was out of a job and in a bad crash that lasted 5 months. I went back to work in June and promptly crashed again, rendering me unable to work for most of 2015. I am a single parent with no source of income except for my earnings.
I got to a point where I had to make a choice. To surrender to CFS and take my own life, or to rise above CFS and live the best life I can, with our without its constraints.
I chose to live. I chose to let go and let God. I chose to release anxiety, doubt, fear, anger, resentment, judgment and criticism of myself and others.
I chose to focus on finding the fullness of myself as a spiritual being, you see CFS can shut down my body but it CANNOT contain my spirit. I chose to learn to be more loving to myself and to others and to daily begin to emanate peace, harmony, tolerance and grace.
I also went through a painful process of facing lifelong issues which have contributed to ongoing depression and I believe have been a contributor for CFS. I spent many hours walking through my own darkest places, taking the lessons from them and blessing each circumstance and person that had previously caused me so much pain.
I came out of 2015 a different person.
I believe that one day CFS will be a distant memory for me. Until then I feed myself daily with messages of positive power, love, grace, harmony and peace.
PS : I suffered through acute depression for most of 2015. After focused energy release practices coupled with daily affirmations and deliberate daily focus on faith, joy and love, I have been able to deal with multiple CFS crashes and even depressive spells without falling into the deep dark depressions that I have been accustomed to dealing with most of my life. No meds required. Allelujah!

You are truly amazing and such an inspiration to me.You have taught me so much and I will never forget you my beautiful wise Jamaican friend.I hope that some day I will meet you in person and wrap my arms around you.I can so clearly see how far you have come in your spiritual growth and how many valuable realizations you now have to share with us.You are a gift from God to me.I truly feel that way.Your journals give me strength and remind me that I am not this illness.I have been extremely ill recently and collapsed and was hospitalized.I felt like I had hit rock bottom and just couldn\'t see my way out of all of the suffering. So all that you have written here is the best guidance for me.Thankyou with all my heart dear Max.Love light and new healing for 2016 xo
WOW Max!! What an inspirational, true, gut wrenching, yet wonderful journal!! I am so proud of you, that you have taken your experience with this hideous illness and slapped it down, and taken your life back. I know what an awful thing CFS is. We all do. But you are right! WE have the power!! We do!! I\'ve had some horrible things happen in my life in 2015. I lost my husband to cancer. Yet....still dealing with CFS, I cared for him till the day he died. CFS didn\'t conquer all!! No maam! God gave me strength to help my husband, and I did. And I am proud.
Again, so glad you hear from you, Max. You have grown. You will continue to grow! God bless you! xo
Woot!!!! Woot!!!! Max, what a wonderful & inspiring journal, you go girl! You have taken a journey that had helped you to grow. Letting this illness go & turning your back on it, so to speak, is just amazing. I love my life even though I have had to deal with much since I have become ill. I will not let this illness take me down. You have become one strong woman & I am proud of you. Good job!! Many soft & gentle hugs, Denise
