Catching up at the gym
Since the weather outside was horrid (huge gusts of wind and pouring rain) so Lisa and I went to the gym. We did 30 minutes on the treadmill and then some ab machines and push ups. I got 41 minutes of a workout. I'm working on the challenge in one of my groups which is 30 minutes of exercise daily without missing a day for 10 days. I'm on day 6. I need to drink more water... I've been slacking lately. It hasn't helped my weight loss. I'm at 220.4 pounds now and I can't wait until I'm below 220. I know I can do it. I just have to be patient and keep up the hard work. I was thinking of asking Geo if he wanted to go to our Japanese buffet on Saturdays if we haven't gone out to eat at all the previous week. I don't know if that's possible financially, but I can try. I'm going to put $50 in savings and $50 for the car fund. I want some spending money when I get to my moms, so that's why I'm saving this time.
I got an email from my lawyer. They wanted proof of my disability so I can get a better settlement. I'm getting sued by a credit card company (who are still sending me letters to sign up for a new card) so I'm just hoping for something small. I already have to pay him $65 a month for 10 months, and then if he gets a settlement under $500 he gets a bonus of $650 so that's after the $65 I pay him now. I just will have to pay $65 for the next year and a half. I think I would have been better off filing for bankruptcy, but it's too late now. Most of my bills are gone, anyway, except for my student loans. That's about $75,000 worth of loans. No, that is not a typo. Seventy-five thousand! At least when I'm on disability I don't have to pay. But I don't want to be on disability forever, so I have to prepare to pay them back when I get a real job.

fantastic on the workout and the day 6!! you will be 220 and under in no time. I hope you get to the japenese restaurant that would be a great treat. what did you go to college for? sadly, 75,000 isn\'t even that much these days, my nieces\'s colleges were 40,000 a year! hopefully you will get an adjustment to what you receive, paying that lawyer must be a huge killer money wise. I filed bankruptcy once and I am back in the hole with a credit card and it stays on your record for 7 years. hugsss
Nice working on 6 days in a row I\'m so happy for you. Great job with the weight. .You are right you can do it. just be patient and keep focused. Don\'t rush it.
That\'s a lot of student loans. Could you contact them when you plan to get a job and ask for a payment plan that will be a bit easier for you when you go back to work?
the way you explained the lawyer thing it almost sounds like he\'ll get more than you owed. Good luck
i reallly think you should keep the disability.
have you thought about doing \"teach america\" you need a bachellor\'s in ANYTHING and you do teaching in rural or inner city areas and if you are willing to do that, they forgive your student loans. have no idea the details on that.
I applied for Teach For America and got turned down. I just don\'t work well with a group of kids, and they forgive about $25,000 I believe.
Proud of you for sticking with the gym. Too pooped to type more, just know that I am happy you are pursuing your physical fitness. Hugs
they forgive that much in loans! i still have loans. how long do you sign up for? do they pay off private school loans as well? what a great idea!
