Can’t wait for tomorrow
I work in the morning tomorrow and then I have the day to myself. I’ve been working 6 days a week for the past few weeks and so some chill time will be so welcome. I bought a bottle of wine and some cheese. I will feast on those and watch whatever’s on the tube or maybe read ... just whatever!! Later in the day I’ll walk over to the cafe and get a coffee and maybe a pastry! :)

Enjoy your day Mark!
Are you living out the Biblical quote from one of my meditation readers this morning?
Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. ~Mark 10:15 ESV
I wonder if that motivational poster I like to quote so much could be an Atheist translation of this Bible quote. "Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get." For sure, I've found far more contentment in looking for the joy in what I get than I have ever found in forcing my way to what I think I want from an unclear distance.
I am still blatantly committing the sin of envy over the fact that you live near a decent bakery. I love the ritual of slicing my own bread and you wouldn't believe what I have to go through to get a decent loaf of unsliced bread. C'mon, God. . . I want, I want, I want. . . Don't make me learn how to bake my own bread! ! !
actually learning to bake your own bread is a really wonderful skill! I knew a man a long time ago who made his own bread and croissant and he was the magnet center for all his friends. It was so delicious!! Maybe you could find bread through amazon.com? It might be day old - but they might package it so it stays fresh!
