Can't sleep...being harassed...

Well thanks to my weird family once AGAIN, now I got my phone number stolen and someone is using it.

My brother in law has a *f'd* up cousin.  Him and my weird sister, Yvonne, loaned his shady cousin money and cousin never paid it back to them.  Now they stopped talking to the cousin.  Now the cousin is mad because she can't get any more money from them, and called threatened them that she will "get" her sisters.

Soooo....the cousin has been targeting me and my other sister.  I don't know how in the world she did this, but MY phone number on my other sister's  (Elena) caller ID is coming up.  Elena called me and asked me if I called her.  I didn't.  Then she told me she got a strange call threateneing her and her caller ID showed my number.  Again, I have no idea how my brother in law's cousin did this.

My *f'd* up brother in law and my *f'd* up sister, Yvonne, refuse to do anything abouit it because they are scared of his cousin.  We don't know his cousin's last name so we can't trace her.  I called Verizon (my phone carrier) and reported it.  Their response is they can't read all the emails, they get hundreds, but will try to respond.  I can't go to the police because there's nothing they can do.         I don't know what to do!!

So sorry Maria. For now why don't you change your number. I've had to do that as I had a fax machine phoning me all hours of the night. Talk to your therapist about this so it is documented & I would still contact police. Gentle Hugs!

It’s so wrong that you and your sister have to suffer due to your in-laws dodgy family. I’ve never heard of a number being stolen whilst the true owner still has the use of it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with this either. Can you get an itemised phone bill that shows what numbers have been called? Last thing you need is that nut running up a bill in your name. Sorry you’re going through this.
