can't do individual hugs and comments, but please feel the LOVE!!!!
Hullo Out There!!!!!!
boy oh boy, so i'm a weeper, so what?! having weepies cause i can't shop for Sam's gift - cause the pain is ramping up & cause the brintellex is leaving my system and so yeah..........but the good news is that i'm not nauseous all the time or barfing or rushing to the bathroom cause of abdominal cramps.
this is the 4th medicine i've taken to knock back fibromyalgia and sadly it was too rough on my gastrointestinal tract to continue. but i gave it a very serious diehard try...........three months and it just wasn't the solution. as the pain returns i am feeling more anxious and more vulnerable. nobody wants higher pain levels. nobody.
sam's birthday is coming up and i have been thinking about getting him a watch for a long time. contacted his Dad and my daughter to ask them to go shopping in care of me for him. my ex thinks this is a great idea and offered to match my budget.......and he hopes that sara and hubby will also be able to contribute. so with them shopping and an expanded budget we can come up with a watch that Sam will be able to enjoy for a good long time.
his birthday is the 16th, so i am hopeful that they will be able to shop this week-end. i am thinking a classic man's watch, dressier.......Sam has never really had a nice watch. He wears a watch daily, so hopefully this is something he will be happy to receive!!!
my walking ability is seriously diminishing. between the pain in the tailbone muscle, the bursae and the hip I am at the mercy of the court. even though my gait is returning to it's pre-Brintellix awkward walk, i am no longer nauseous, experiencing terrible diarrhea or vomiting. all HUGE plusses........but the tender screaming nerve endings are shooting way back up on the pain scale. walking like a jumbly wonky bird........it's disjointed.......looks almost like somebody is pulling "imaginary puppet strings" ..... look like a disjointed wobbly penguin or yellow non rubber ducky.
wish it didn't have to be such a dramatic trade off.......maybe someday there will be a med more of us can take and find relief........pray for all the needed some days!
i love reading your comments........i want to write letters/notes to each and everyone of you. sitting in my chair is too painful today........can't stay here long at all..........but please KNOW how much i want to talk to each and everyone of you........to thank you, to chuckle with you, to let you know how much i appreciate the shared experiences you bring to my table........i am sorely in need of all of your support and want to do more in care of each of you.......you're such a loving, caring and kind bunch of friends. priceless, irreplaceable...........rare and precious!
my computer is a table top version - can only use it at the kitchen table (aka my mini office on the main floor, cause i can't safely climb stairs)
here are the hugs i want to send to each person..........please feel the love coming through each and every mark..........ya'll are unforgettable - i love ya'll!
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
sara asked me if i thought i might be able to join the family for sam's birthday dinner and i said i always hope to be able to go every time there is a special occasion........and asked her to pray. thanks for listening..........and caring and for BEING YOU!

Gentlest softest hugs, dear sparrow, and we always feel your love:-) Make sure you are feeling ours!
Prrrrrrrrr PUrrrrrrrr PUrrrrrrrrr:-)
Asking Sara to pray was so wise, it should give her a sense of ownership in your state of health, as well as a sense of responsibility towards you in the present (regardless of her perceptions of the past!) I\'d kick that one around the court for a good long time ;)
The watch is a great idea too........ may they step up to the plate..........?
I FEEEEEL the love! You send so much of it out every day, Ruthie!! It would be hard to miss. Get off that hard chair now, we know you luvs us!! Please rest.
Awesome idea for Sam...the watch. Also awesome that there will be cooperation and other contributors, so it can be even CLASSIER!! I love my watch. I wear it every day. Hubby gave it to me for our tenth wedding anniversary. It\'s just a tad to dressy for everyday wear, but I wear it anyway, cuz it would hurt him if I didn\'t. Just a suggestion....not TOO classy for Sam, if he\'s gonna wear it everyday, it needs to be TIMEX strong and durable!!
I\'m so sorry that your good hard try on the med wasn\'t rewarded with complete success. Sometimes the pills do just make us so sick that we can\'t take them. It\'s happened to me several times. I know you won\'t miss running to the bathroom all the time and feeling sick....but I\'m gonna have to ramp up the prayers that another med does the trick OR even better, that the good Lord just eases your pain to a manageable level where your wonkie birdiness is not going to make you yelp!!! Pain is awful. I don\'t want you to suffer, Ruthie. It hurts my heart.
So STEP AWAY from the computer and rest your tailbone. I have just now prayed for you. And will continue to do so!! xoxo
Gentle, loving hugs to you, my friend!
I hugged you last night and was bounced outta DS to somewhere in the universe. Hit the back arrow and returned and hugged again, that worked... Rest Ruthie...we love ya honey... xo
Well dear Ruthie, you may not be able to physically shop for Sams pressie, but you\'re the one who got it all organized, so that\'s just as good.Give yourself a big well done pat on the back for that.As for feeling your love and support, you have been a blessing to me.How you give so much to so many when you are in that much pain is unfathomable. I am wondering if you might beable to have more of those shots again? It\'s so disappointing that your latest med didn\'t work.Well, it did for a while but bad side effects, such a bummer.Hang in there Ruthie darling, we have the best team ever.Strong and powerful in numbers, oh yeah!! You are so good with words.Priceless, irreplaceable....rare and precious . That\'s you for sure, my sweet Georgian friend.
Ruthie, totally understand that you can\'t hug and comment with everyone...tis more than Okay. I know your heart is good and loving. Sorry to hear that the pain levels are amping up again. Wish there was a med you could take that was a positive positive instead of a positive/negative...((())) What ever you get for Sam,I know he will love it just as he loves you. Take good care Ruthie. & greenies
We feel the love, Ruthie. Not, only do we feel it, we LIKE it!!! I understand not being able to stay on the computer, sometimes. Our computer is on a big desk, with the screen up high, and a big office chair more suitable to my 6\'2\" husband than for me. When I\'m not feeling well I just have to take a few days off.
Sounds like you\'ve arranged a good compromise deal for Sam\'s birthday gift! I wish you could reach a compromise as good as that with your fibro meds!
My dad\'s birthday is on the 16th, too! So, of course I\'ll think of your Sam that day!
