One thing I am thinking about this morning as well is that I found myself kind of paranoid and fixated on my upset and then realized I definitely need to remember that the upset I may have with the world at times and the others who I am fixated on probably have that that too and so I choose to live in compassion and consideration and feel a sense of peace about it. Grateful to have gone to church. I am not so strong and being there felt safe and like a place I like ‘to live in.’
In terms of staying on my own two feet, what other people do or don't deal with is naught but a distraction to watching my own steps. That is not to say that I don't care about the people around me, nor to say I would miss the opportunity to help when and where I can. It is only to say that we dance more elegantly if each partner keeps their focus on their own steps. With that, we all, together, suffer fewer undignifying trips and stubbed toes.
I miss church. We had yet to establish ourselves in a local church community when corona crowned and. . . Ya know, ya know. . .
Might be time to try again. Maybe. I still suffer enough religious phobia that adding the mask phobia on top of my COVID reinforced social anxiety still sounds more daunting than My paranoia is telling me that you took the picture from behind to escape the reminder of how many Christians are hiding their faces from God these days. Hey. . . Not even **my** paranoia is smart. Paranoia is immune to logic.
I hope Christians continue to hide their faces from god while in church to keep each other safe.....as they have a tendency to hug and touch all over each other.
