Well, things are a bit calmer for now. I saw a therapist that has followed my life for 7 years. It helps to have someone who can listen that you know rather than a new person trying to get a perspective of who you are and where how your dynamics relate to issues.
I feel like there is some stability now in my life and that was the real problem. Nothing anyone else does or thinks about me can change me. But I have to learn not to get so serious when things occur. I come from a very unstable environment as a child but found a good deal of happiness as an adult once moving on from my parents problems. Now that I live and care for my Mom, a portion of those old unstable events occur. Learning not to react is going to be a real challenge.
