cry
hi to my friends i cried today. i sobbed today. we were invited out to friends for lunch. i hated it. not because of them. because of me. it was as if i were taking all the energy and power i had to sit at the table and not cry. ive been holding it back for weeks now. im reaching nearly 6 months since jessys passing. im not depressed in that i dont want to do anything. l love to be at home, do my gardening, make my home beautiful, play with the kids, and my dogs, do research on helping my kids, looking after my pappa, talking with my hubby, and spending time with my mom. but NOT GOING OUT! i dont want to sit with other people. i cant make small talk. i cant talk to them about ANYTHING. i dont want people to come here and visit. i can talk correspondence. that way i guess i can communicate when im up to it. i just dont want to have to socialise with anyone, or see anyone. i came home from lunch, it was very very hot, my feet were sore. i sate on the side of the bath, put my feet in, and ran the cold water over my feet. and i started to sob. and i SOBBED AND SOBBED AND SOBBED AND SOBBED.my husband came to me, and my mom came. all i could get out, was "my baby is dead", and i cried something terrible, and uncontrollable for about an hour non stop. i then told them, everyone tells things about "the bigger picture" and "G-d's greater plan", and how i was "chosen for a reason", and why "G-d had to take Jessy for a reason".... but I AM HUMAN!!!! AND I AM IN PAIN!!!! AND NO MATTER WHAT THE REASONS ARE, OR ANY MAYBE'S OR ANY RATIONALISING... ...... I AM IN PAIN! AND THIS PAIN IS TERRIBLE! AND IT IS REAL!!! i have finished crying now. i have such a headache now, and have exhausted myself from crying. ive just taken something for my headache. my whole being is tired, my body is so weak. will i survive this? love jan

Your final question is one I ask myself all the time... will I survive this? I wish I had an answer. I guess the obvious answer is yes, because so many do survive as we read on DS everyday, but I often wonder exactly how. All I can do is offer my empathy and understanding and hope that in some small way that it helps to ease some of your pain. Hugs, Charlotte.
Jan, I\'m so very sorry. I could tell you so many times I felt the same as you and going out in public was so painful and hard even with loved ones. Our feelings of loss and all the sadness leave us so fatigued and with no energy. I still love to be home, it is my sanctuary but I go out more and enjoy it more as time goes on. Your why questions are so normal. I think we all continue to ask that no matter how long it has been. We try to search for meaning and some questions have answers, many do not. Please surround yourself with those who love and support you and I promise it will get better. It\'s always part of us and you are learning that but the pain gets less intense and we incorporate it into our lives. You are loved. Robin
Jan, sorry that you had hard time. My heart aches for you.tears are cleansing, that is what DS friends tell me all the time. At least tears can ease our pain for a while.Being social is a big ask for us,I have found it is very hard too.In the long run, things will get better, but we always have the ups and downs. We will get stronger to manage the pain better and accomodate our loss to our \'new\' life.Jessy is so lucky to have her as her mum. You are a wonderful and caring mum, you have given her the best care you could. Hope that thought can bring the comfort to your heart. some peace today. love Robyn
i\'m so sorry. you are in my thoughts and prayers. i\'m not really sure what to say except that the days get easier. take care. love and hugs, meg
