Busy and broke...

Since it's summer, my kids seem to be staying up way too late - especially the baby. She only wants her Mommy when she is tired, so I have to keep her company until she falls asleep. Then there's the housework.
I still haven't quite gotten over my stomach problem, but I am too broke to keep going back for follow up visits. I don't know why the local hospital has such an expensive co-pay for follow ups. Follow up visits there used to be free.
I am still working, and deciding each week which creditors get something, and which ones have to wait. My husband seems not to have a care in the world. I really don't get it. I pay something for and utility bill, and then buy a bare minimum of groceries and baby supplies for the week, and there seems to be nothing left. Some days I would like to treat myself to Starbucks or something. I mean, my husband takes in a movie almost every week.
My husband interviewed with a company the other day, and it looked promising, but the person that gave him the interview is now on vacation. Hopefully, they can work something out soon.
Hope everyone is doing okay.

I\'m sorry you are going through such a rough time. I understand all to well the dance of the Bill shuffle. One of the greatest pieces of advice my dad gave me many years ago was \" you can stay awake all night long worrying about the bills, but their still going to be there in the morning\". I don\'t know why but that clicked with me as long as I knew I was doing the best I can than so be it. I ended up getting at least a little more sleep lol. I\'m sorry your tummys gucky, your right those copay\'s are so expensive they should be free after all we wouldn\'t be coming back if they fixed it the first time. If you ever need a friend I\'m only a message away feel free to vent away I\'m a good listener I\'ll help anyway I can. Sending prayers for strength and peace of mind. I hope your husband gets the job.
Hugs & God Bless

Having little ones keeps you going all the time. Don\'t fret the housework. You do what you can but the little ones grow up so fast and before you know it they\'re gone. She\'ll learn to go to sleep on her own. I\'m kinda going through that with my 3 yr old granddaughter but it\'s getting better. I\'m with hurtingangel as far as the bills go. You can only do the best that you can. I hope you feel better soon. Take care, Lucy

Thanks ladies for your responses. It does help to know there are others out there that understand. I know that I am not the only one with these challenges, especially in these tough economic times. I just can\'t imagine a life without my kids either.

Hang in there. I know it is tough right now but things will get better over time. I hope our husband gets the job. I know about the bills - Since my husband has been hurt I have handled all the bills and yes you do have to make decisions and do what you are capable of doing and keep on going. I have made a monthly budget based on exactly what money I know is coming in and then go from there. It is not set in stone but it does give me some relief to know what is owed, how much money I have or do not have. If you ever need to talk , I am here for you. Sending you many hugs, strength, support, peace, laughter, joy and some love!

I am so sorry that you are going through such a rough time! I can fully relate to your situation, my friend. Your beautiful children deserve your time and attention, so don\'t stress too much about the housework. I will pray with you that your husband gets that job! With our Lord nothing is impossible!

Big hugs to you. xxx
