Bumbles...... Life goes on
A pair of Carolina wrens have built a nest in the carport again. Much of the nest consists of the hair that Bumble D., our former Great Pyrenees shed everywhere.
It makes my spirit soar to see that, even though Bumbles is gone, he still helps give new life, new songs...... Amazing how God works.
I'm still crashing, hurting, doing stupid stuff..... Battling depression.... Up one day, down the next..... Up one hour down the next. Still, never giving up!!! Never surrender!

I'm sorry to hear you are still crashed and battling depression. I love the story about the nest, though. The fur of a Great Pyrenees would make for a comfy nest. Much love.
Beautiful about bumbles and wrens nesting pr. ♥ full circle of life me too with the ups downs depression but moving on and through. good for you prl♥
Hi there Nancy. Good to hear from you. So sorry it's a battle for you. Same here . However you are our pilot ROCK. A strong resilient woman at heart. I have always admired you. That's so lovely to hear that Bumbles hair has provided a home for the wrens. I am sitting here on my chair in my new spot in the rainforest market...fresh water crocs down the hill behind me and lizards running through my stall lol! I left the other shop because I was fed up with the mean woman next to me. Everyone here at the Heritage Rainforest Market is so nice. The owners are kind and very accommodating. I am feeling a bit better at present. Still can't sleep without drugging myself to sleep..taking an over counter med called Restavit . It's a sedating early generation antihistamine and I only take a half a tablet and get no side effects. I still push and crash and end up bedridden for days crying my eyes out. I'm a sook for sure. I hate being in that damn bed again.
Anyway I'm happy to be here today and talking to a few tourists. Love to you my friend. Hold strong. We need one of those pretend pool parties at the Sparrow Cottage again. We had some laughs.
Nancy, how sweet to know that the birds are using Bumble’s hair for their new home. I’m sorry to hear you are stuck in a push/crash cycle. It’s been a long winter and I’ve been stuck inside for most of it. Hoping Spring finds us both feeling better and renewed in spirit.
Sorry for this tardy response. I've been slow to catch up journals. I sure hope you are feeling better now. The bad days/times are hard to get through, but hopefully we'll get some better ones. I just connected with a woman here in Austin who is allergic to molds and has a lot of the same symptoms we have. Her house is going through mold remediation right now. I'm also allergic to molds, but its the ones outside that seem to get to me. I need to move to a dryer climate, but my folks need me closer to them. They are in their 80s. The ironic thing is that my mother has more energy than I do!
