Brave enough?
I toyed with the idea of posting this on Facebook but I couldn't. Couldn't even finish it.
Celebrity deaths don't usually bother me- I don't know them, they don't really inspire me so I never take them personally. At first I was a bit puzzled by my reaction to the news of Robin Williams' death. It shook me to my core. Then I realized why- it was probably the same reaction a cancer patient would have had to the news of another cancer patient dying. It scares you to know that someone who is fighting the same battle you are succumbed to it. This person with such unlimited resources, someone who could afford to get the best care in the world, lost the fight. Someone you would have thought had moved pass all the usual worries- no money, no success, no family. He lost so what hope do I have?
Maybe one day but not today. For now I'll keep my illness and the way I feel about it on the DL.

Iam, the thing is, everyone\'s depression, factors leading up to it, supports, everything are all different. You don\'t truly know how anyone else suffers, just the general feelings surrounding our suffering. So no two beepers are the same, and their crises are not identical. You cannot lose hope for yourself bc someone else didn\'t make it. You can\'t. Because you can\'t compare the situations. Ok? None of that.
Oh, I put [heart] you, but it cut it out. So, HEART you!
Yeah, I want to be more public talking about it. But for right now I\'m happy to have DS friends and peers as supports. Sadie is right, everyone has different circumstances. (((hugs))) to you.
