Brand New Baby, Same Old June
So I had my daughter on Aug.20th, it was a really easy delivery...which I'm thankful for, and most of my family made it right after she arrived. Including June. She was scrawny and shaky and I honestly couldnt tell if she was high. Wich is a new experience for me, but I wasn't really all there anymore. Turns out pushing out a baby in only 45 minutes drains you pretty good!! I turned to say something to my sister, and somehow June got her paws on Marlow(our girl). Since I couldn't tell if she was high, I couldn't really tell her not to touch her neice. After all, she is just that, June's family. But after June had held her and put her back she went into the waiting room, where the rest of my family and my fiancees family were waiting their turns, and she announced she wanted to leave...right now. June doesn't drive, so my mother had picked her up, and she demanded my mother leave right then. Said that she didn't want to be there because of me. What I had done...I don't know. But she was starting to talk louder, and meaner, and there were so many people there. To celebrate OUR daughter, and June was ruining it. I'm not going to lie, June embarasses me. Joey's family knows that my sister is an addict, I've never hidden that fact. But I try and keep limited contact between my future in laws and my sister...for obvious reasons. But sometimes its unavoidable.June made everyone feel uncomfortable and she made a joyous occasion tense and awkward. And when each person got their time to see Marlow they were quiet and reserved. My mum left, to take June home. My mother was one of the people who should of been there as long as she wanted. A girls mother has special priviledges when it comes to a baby. But she had to take June home, away from the hospital. This whole entry has been disjointed but it's how my mind feels right now. I'm mad at June...really mad. But she thinks she did nothing wrong by causing a scene to get what she wanted. Argh...just argh.
