brain reignition.
clarity of thought. wonderful.......so very wonderful.
the combination of the cpap equipment and the night oxygen is turning me into a reminder of how i used to think, function, manage my own thoughts.
still have exhaustion. pain still strongly present, BUT this wondrous thing called sleep is astonishing. yes, astonishing!
for the last SEVEN nights I have slept. All through the night........actual continuois sleep. I'm so happy I may get this equipment chocolates and valentine day cards! i may dance and spin and twirl like a crazed baby girl gymnast Dancing with the Stars junior champion.......feeling happy, sleep is grand. just grand.
i find myself "knocking on wood" for fear that it will stop. a fear that a good thing will only be a fleeting thing.....fairly unused to joy. gotta find joy again. keep it, age it, hold onto it but not strangle it.
it is 11:55 am and i have done so many things. showered, chores, tidied and have food in the oven. within that short phrase there are many sub listings of accomplishments. for me, for the world i am in........time to throw a party.
i know this place is no longer the place we found back in the day. but it's still a place i can come, a place i know, a place i reminisce over......about friends all over the globe who found strength and unification on this site. Daily Strength. i pray that a new place will come for us.........it makes me sad how much and how many we have lost due to a change in the technology of this site. i imagine it to be a place where it used to be a hive of activity united and joining people in need of that very important quality of daily strength. now i see it as a cavernous warehouse broken down.......filled with old bits and rust, cobwebs and dust. makes me so very sadding. sadding means very sad with a ding for emphasis. a daughter word made up to express her depth of sadness.
a word she used when her favorite things came to an end. one time she cried just as Charolotte's Web started on the VCR......concerned I went to her, what is wrong sweetie? "oh momma", i love it so much......but it will end." and she leaned down and wept. i understand her dismay, her unhappiness. i love this place and hate to see it turn into nothingness........i've prayed so many nights for it to be fixed, updated, re strung into a better tool for all of us who need ties and can't get out often to be with others. .......i am tired now, still celebrating sleep.......sweet restful slumber. still taking it all in........hugs from Sparrow Cottage in the Woods of Georgia. xoxoxoxooxoxoxoxxo

Ruthie, I'm so happy to hear you are sleeping better. It's such a restorative thing to be able to get proper sleep. I hope it keeps up - I'm hopeful that your new equipment will keep doing its job well. The story of your daughter's sorrow over the anticipated end of Charlotte's Web is so sweet. Something all of us can relate to. I feel the loss of the old DS very, very much. I have a few friends, like you, that I still connect with, but even that is much less frequent than in the past.
Great that you are sleeping so well at the moment. Can you send the Sandman my way?
That's wonderful! I continue to use my CPAP, but have not found it to be the miracle you have. I don't get extra oxygen, though, so maybe that's why. I had hoped it would really make a difference for me, but I'm so glad it helped you. Love you.
