Good notes

I think I am struggling with the interdependence in my life

past present AND now future - there was a priest at the all male monastery callled Vatopedi in Greece

I really could relate to - now I am finding I can really relate to another priest at another make monastery.

I think maybe interdependence and the community you naturally are a part of is important

to think about.

Here they serve community in it's very essence -

when I was living in Florida with with my best friend that was another kind of community -

but I didn't know as much as I know now about life - and myself

I am not sure if this community is right for me - they really dominate much like old patterns did

but maybe it's time to question the community of the future for me

again - interdependence is important to understand -
and also the value of community - I feel like I am needing

a community with interdependence that makes me feel good about myself

and not just the meta - idea of having filled in the lines the right way

I don't know - something in me snapped and Blue started crying

and now I am just trying to move forward and not feel powerless and sad -

I thought to reach out to Dad or my doc - but the post seems to have it best

- I love my family - but my life is killing me and I need to have keep a good attitude

for making something work from it - and I need help thinking about this.

Each community is about taking care of life but in the way that it’s satisfying to and fits for them. thinking about what I get out of this life, we don’t have to be robots

I just was thinking about us, all of us living here. How we try and put our best foot forward with each other and how sometimes that doesn’t meet up with the response we hope for. Or our response falls short. So we’re all a bit on razor’s edge at times. The Abbess said it wonderfully today, though she had no idea I was thinking about it. She said ‘we’re all trying to create something beautiful here’ it rang so apt and so succinct. It makes sense to see that in each other..
When we’re together here, though doing simple things, it can feel important

At 72 I still don't know what I want to become when I grow up.

Each day one puts a foot down on the floor and moves, 'it's all good'....even when it's bad/hard...everything that happens is a learning lesson.

Big squishy hug sweetie

It's true that at any age it seems we still have struggles and are working in one way or another at trying to get it right

Judy Collins said "through pain and suffering the God of surprises has given us a powerful, poignant way to change and grow"

I'll be praying for God to give you the guidance you need for your future. Sometimes we just don't know what to do and God can answer our prayers and tell us what to do if we just listen. Have a happy day Mark!
