Bombs, shootings....
What the hell is going on? Yesterday was the guy in Florida that sent all those bombs in the mail, he got caught. Today was a mass shooting in Pittsburgh, 11 dead. Also today I took a one day Course at my local college, and I had gotten a confirmation in the mail about the course a few days ago. Inside the envelope they sent an insert---titled --- "What to do if there is an Active Shooter"---two pages of what to do, such as how to shield yourself, how to try and help others, what if you are confronted, etc. Instead of those two pages they sent with what to do, I can tell you in one sentence what to do: RUN LIKE HELL.
All this stuff is making everyone so stressful and depressed, and will drive more and more people over the edge. We have to watch our backs wherever we go, and it seems like it's getting even worse.

I know Maria. It feels like this world is crazy. Full of disturbed, evil monsters.
As you know I work in a school and we're all briefed on lockdown procedures. Actually, run like hell is not what they suggest but I think if you have a clear getaway that's what comes naturally. It's a scary and depressing world.
The world is not a safe place anymore, we all have to be careful. It a shame that we have to fear for our life!
