Blue is like a 2 year old
My cat Blue seems like what I bet having a 2 year old child is like. His essentials need to be cared for and then he wants things and tells me so by meowing. Then I have to figure out which one of the things we habitually do together that he is wanting at the moment. His attention span might end and or he might be satisfied after a while and then he will be quiet. Then he'll start meowing again eventually for something new. It's sweet and keeps me on my toes and my time here with him is really teaching me lot. Here at home is not just about me, thank god. He reminds me to be human.

There are, indeed, quite allot of similarities between loving critters and loving toddlers. Be humane and take time for gratitude that your 2 year old doesn't have opposable thumbs. Those opposable thumbs really expand the mischief potentials. My chickens can only dream of opening a cereal box and pouring it across the floor. My two year old was heading for the milk on her cereal when I caught her.

Our little fur babies need our live and attention just as we need theirs. Bella breaks my heart when my alarm goes off and I am getting ready for work and she brings me her toy to make sure I play with her before I leave for the day…..that meow gets me every time….
