They really like you interacting with the with those 'fishing rod' kind of toys at least that's what The Cat from Hell uses to play with the cats he's training on the show
That's cool Mark and good exercise.... Dan has a harness for Cozette and will take her out for short jaunts by the home to let her get fresh air.... He doesn't walk her just carries her outdoors and lets her lay out to get sun and air... He may like that especially if he used to be an outdoor cat
"Taz" is also a North Texas dairy farmer who put the Tasmanian Devil in his proper place. The gentle dairy farmer Taz doesn't waste his mean streak on random targets. Should I send him your way? He'll probably bring milk.
I used to have a neighbor whose cat loved her harnessed walks so much that she nagged her person like a dog. Even brought him the leash when she was ready for a walk. Those two went everywhere together. Truly a match made in heaven.
If I open the french doors to my master suite, that's kind of Rambo's 'cue" to start running from one end of the house to the other. She just does it until she's had her fill. It's like a race track, she'll circle around the kitchen island, dart up and over her kitty tower and back and forth from my master bathroom to Zach's side of the house so fast it makes my head spin. They just have to get their energy out.
I take Rambo outside on her leash and harness....but more often than not it ends up me dragging her across the grass as she just falls over. LOL She is so not into the "outdoors", she's perfectly fine being and inside cat and seeing the "outside" from her perch on the back of the couch through the living room windows!!
