Birth of Internet

When I went away to college, a whole world of porn opened up for me. I wasn't dating any real, live girls. Not that I wasn't interested. It just wasn't happening for me. But here I was out on my own, no parental supervision and my own computer. Now, back in the day you couldn't go on the internet without seeing porn. It hadn't been regulated yet. I must have downloaded viruses onto 6 or 7 computers. But even then I didn't think I had a problem. 

I remember, years later, I was living with my girlfriend and I would get up early and walk 2 miles to the library and look at porn on the public computers. I would try hooking up with random strangers -- never went through with it, but I got off talking about it.

The internet made buying porn unnecessary. It became so free and easy and accessible. And now I can just take out my phone and there it is. It's like inescapable.
