Big Fire @ my apt building yesterday, Fri Sat Apr 4,p.m.

Well this is what my hallway looked like yesterday morning. It was really much blacker, couldn't see ANYTHING. I am up on the 3rd top floor, was so slow, i got trapped in my apt with my son. It was too dangerous to get me down the stairs. It started on the 1st floor, that's my ONLY  way out also. I think i am still in shock. I have stage one Agoraphobia, so it was so hard, so glad my son was here. I kept opening the door, like a dork, and he shut it and kept a calm head, thank you son, my hero. The great news is that nobody died or got smoke inhalation. We were SO LUCKY. God is Good. I just feel numb, and that smell in the hallway, OMG. Never been that close to a fire before, and i NEVER WANT TO AGAIN. That was and is soo scary, glad we have firewall's, but that hallway is wiped out, don't know how they will get that horrible smell out of the hallway. I and my son are SO FORTUNATE. The apt that was on fire is total'd, but we are going to be fine. You know i feel nothing yet, think i shut down wene that happened, and havn't woke from it yet? OK that's it for me for now.
