Big Emotional Improvement

This is my first journal entry of the 2013 year, I just really haven't had the want to write anything about my life but I know this will help me in the future when I look back. So I have been doing much, much better this year, I no longer think about my ex constantly, I won't say at all because then I would be lying. Now if I do think about her it's not about wondering what she's doing or what she's up to, it'll be that I'll see or hear something that creates an automatic trigger and she'll come to mind but as soon as she comes up the thought is then gone which is great for me. At the beginning of this year I decided and made a promise to myself that this year would be better than the last and that I would work on myself physically and emotionally. Since the beginning of the year I have started working out and working on myself physically since I have always been a big guy I wanted to work on this, I have always procrastinated and said I would workout someday but I guess my divorce was the kick in the ass that I needed to actually get me to do it. For the longest time I did not like taking pictures because I was not happy with myself so working out is doing good for me both physically and mentally, I can see a slight change in my face which makes me feel good and makes me want to keep up the work. I've set a goal for myself as far as losing weight, that goal is to lose 80 pounds by August 5 which would be my 30th birthday. Last year in September I managed to lose 30 pounds in two months so I know I can do it. I want to be able to enter my 30's in a good way and feeling great. I have 7 months to achieve my goal and I know that I can obtain it if I just continue to believe in myself.

In the last couple of months I have also started kind of dating, I signed myself up on Plenty of Fish and have actually met a wonderful woman on there and have become good friends with her. We started talking back in November and have continued to do so to this day. We have the commonality of Divorce and both of our spouses were cheating assholes! We've manage to talk pretty much on a daily basis, I enjoy our conversations very much. It's nice to be able to talk to someone about your day and the things that happened. We live 300 miles apart and have never actually met but I find it strange how someone I've never met in person can have such an impact on my emotions. We've never met in person but we have video chatted and I get so excited when I talk to her, she's a real beautiful woman on the outside and also on the inside. I can tell that she's the type of woman that I could really fall for. The more I talk to her and the more I get to know her the more I want to meet her. I hope that we can meet face to face one of these days, I value her friendship and hope to have her as my friend for a very long time.
