Better...slow but sure

This is my dececked out weeping pea tree. It matches the weeping mulberry on the other side of the house. I am slowly getting the decorations made for outdoors. Yesterday in the snow storm I made 4 more items to put on the boughs under the windows. If it is warmer today I hope hubby will help me put them up. If so that will be it for my outdoor decorations except Michael putting up the huge wreath and the lights on the birch tree. Then I’ll have a week off before I do the indoor stuff. I hope in the week in between to get much of my wrapping done!! Yesterday and the night before we really got slammed with the snow, over 14 inches and it was the wet, heavy stuff. Michael and the snowblower had quite a time moving it. And so it begins. Also yesterday we ran out of propane which runs our fireplace in the rec room and we were not schedules for fill up til sometime the first week in Dec. I called and they are going to squeeze us in this week. I sure hope it’s early in the week. I miss the cozy warmth it adds to the room. Plus we don’t use our furnace when it’s on so it saves money.Gotta go shopping for some groceries today..yuck!! I need salad stuff as it’s back on the lunch box diet come mon. and Michael is going on it too. I will also be able to start the treadmill again now that I’m not having coughing fits.I hope to do a bit of Xmas cooking today. Maybe a German apple cake, maple cheese cake and some Bailey’s chocolate truffles. Yummy, I just have to make sure I freeze it and not eat it!!My honey just brought me a fresh from the oven cinnamon bun. No, he did not make it from scratch, a package, but it was so... good.Well, lots to do so I must close. Quote for the day..." A good friend is cheaper than therapy. " Unknown Bye for now, Debbie

Wet snow, I hope you took time to make a snowman. I love making snowmwn. Although with your schedule it doesn\'t sound like snowmen are on the list. Now that is a lot of snow, we don\'t have aby yet. It does sound pretty. Have fun finishing your decor..Naomi xo
