Better Day Today

Today is a bit better. The steriods are starting to work. Reading was easier last night. My doc gave my something to sleep last night as the steriods make me very hyper. Got a solid 6 hrs sleep for me that is good. I am moving easier today, asked to start back to physil, but it has to go through the chain of care givers.
I was they are hoping that the steriods will continue to work until the chemo can start to work. We still do not know if it will work. The one thing the chemo seems to be helping is I am not having "new" attackes. This is the longest I have gone without a new attack in more then a year, so here's hoping.
The challenge seems to be accepting what my function level that day is. Some days I have to ask for more help then I would like to. But it is teaching me that I am inportant too. That has taken awhile to sink in.

No new attacks is fantastic news! And yes, of course you are important! I think that as women, sometimes we are so used to giving help to others that we can\'t see ourselves in any other role. I think it\'s just who we are. But now is your time to be on the receiving end and ask for any help you need.
Gentle hugs, Linda
