Better Days
After a lousy August i am finding my emotional feet these last few days. I am working 1 day a week. My contractor has started working on all those jobs Larry could not get to. My panic attacks have lessened and i haven't taken any medications for 5 days. Is it a lull or the beginning of acceptance? Not sure but i am grateful! No more daily visits from my grandkids because they are back in school but since they are 5 minutes away i will see them lots. I have had lots of support this last month from friends, family and the people on this site. It has helped enormously and i am so thankful i don't have words to describe. Larry is carried in my heart where he should be,but i am not feeling under so much emotional weight that i can't breath. Started weight watchers online to deal with the mindless eating-trying to fill myself up because i felt so empty. i have lost 5 of the 12 pounds i gained and i am eating better. So if life is not good, it is better. Patti

So happy for you that your days are getting better. Everyone keeps telling me that but I am still waiting. It\'s good to keep busy. Larry would want you to stay busy. I am fortunate enough to still be working a full time Monday through Friday job. That alone keeps me busy and keeps my weekends open for my grandkids and children. And good for you losing 5 pounds!! Keep up the good work.
I am so happy for you Patti, you are an inspiration. Keep up the good work! Hugs and Love, Michele
Wonderful!! Sounds like you are on your way! A lot of coping and thriving is attitude!! When I adjusted my attitude, I was able to accept my new life a lot better! Now I need to lose my 20 pounds that I\'ve gained since he died!!
Good for you!!
Dear Patti, congratulations! \"Life is not good, but better\". What a great attitude! Thank you, my friend, you inspire me. Hugs, Tiger
