Best Decision

I think it's been nearly two months since I saw dad.  He's fine and I'm better.  This was the best decision for both of us.  He confessed that he didn't want me around because he didn't want me ruling his life.  That's not what I was trying to do, but it's his perception   At any rate, I'm free now.  I get to made decision for my future again.
I've enjoyed the time.  Working on my resume, spending time with my dog and bird, spending time with friends.  I've gotten to catch up with people I haven't spoken to in a while.  I'm looking forward to the future.

And oh, my blood pressure went down to normal.  So maybe no meds in the future.

Hallelujah and Congratulations.....at times we have to step back and let others do what they want (we may think it\'s wrong but....) we step back and let them do what they want, fall, fail or come back to us for help. Doesn\'t make any difference if it\'s our kids, a loved one or our parents (especially for women we are the care givers, the take care of the problems)...I hate waiting for the other shoe to drop, I want to be in control and sometimes I have to remember, I did what I wanted when I was young so I have to butt out. Take care of yourself, I\'m proud of you for letting your father do what he wants and not letting him hurt you. Hugs, Sandi
