Being Healthy Starts With Soy

I might write short journals a few times a week because this website has helped me alot in the past, mainly to vent about alot of stuff in journals. In my past journals, I was going through so much pain and stress. But, now my life is alot better and I mainly want to write about the positive things and how to get through life problems without much stress.
Anyway, this main update is about me trying to eat healthier. I don't eat alot of sweets or sodas. So, I'm already at a good start. Chocolate, cookies, pies, and cakes are my weekness though. But, I only try to eat them on special occassions.
Since I'm lactose intolerant, I can't drink regular lactosified milk. So, I tried lactose free milk for a while and my stomach felt like a brick. My stomach couldn't handle lactose free milk and I couldn't go to the bathroom for a few days. That freaked me out.
Now I drink soy milk. I didn't know there were so many different kinds of the Silk soy milk. There's just billions of different flavours in the store. I only use milk for baking sweets, cereal, or oatmeal. But, now my stomach doesn't feel like it's gonna explode.
I've been drinking the soy milk for 2 weeks now and I feel amazing. Next, I'm gonna try to find foods that help give me the nutrients I need and help with pain.

You can get the regular soy milk, that has no additional flavoring to it. But, the Silk brand of soy milk has so many different flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and random fruity flavors. I\'ve only tried the vanilla one so far.

It doesn\'t taste like cow or goats milk, since it comes from plants and not animals. You\'ll taste a bit of the soy taste, but you get used to it after a while. I actually think soy milk is better for humans than other animals milk.

Milk from mammals is designed for baby animals who aren\'t ready to digest other types of foods. Plus drinking another species\' milk just seems very odd to me. I only use milk for baking and cereal. But, some people use it for alot of other things.

Honestly there really is no reason for adult animals or adult humans to drink milk after they aren\'t infants anymore. It\'s better to get Vitamin D from other foods than from milk, in my opinion.

Wow, I didn\'t mean to rant. Lol.
