Been Very Busy
My wife had her right knee replaced last June and I helped her with therapy and she spent 2 different 5 day stays in the hospital for Sepsis which she almost died from the second time. This past April, she had her left hip replaced. It had gone bad because she favored it so long with her bad right knee. She is now walking with a cane which she is trying to wean herself off of. She still holds to me when she walks.
I play piano in 5 nursing homes a month, clean a business, twice a week, 35 miles from where I live, I also help take care of my 84 sister and her husband. At my church, I preach, teach Sunday school and also Wed. night Bible Study. I also clean the church, do all the maintenance and mow and trim the yard every week. I also mow my yard and my sister's yard every week. The past 2 weeks, I have been replacing door thresholds, window jams, hanging doors, caulking and scraping paint and painting the house where my wife's sister lives which is about 15 miles from where I live. Climbing ladders 20 ft. tall and getting down on my hands and knees, working on doors, has convinced me I am not 24, anymore. I wonder just how long I can keep this up. So far, I have been blessed with good health for which I am very thankful.

Wow...I am amazed! That's a LOT. Thank God for His strength that you can do all that, I'm glad your wife is OK after that ordeal. She probably has you to thank for getting her through.
Thanks for your comments
Hi Pee Wee, Looks like you are keeping busy! Big hugs for you!!!
My dear friend oldbiker, it's been so long we've connected. I was a new Christian with a rather street history. Maybe that's why I went to your posts. The Holy Spirit works in many ways
Dear oldbiker they apparently only give you so much room to reply. To cut it short stop ask your church members to help rotate the men mowing. Two knee replacements at one time, was tough. Can't imagine what your wife went through. Your vows are to her! Take her on picnics or whatever you can afford. You need to get help, she deserves all of you.
Isaiah 64:6 the church should be helping. Maybe a young man can help you. Stop your Wednesday studies. Take that time for you and your wife. All this work is going to take it's toll on you if it hasn't already. I'm being tough cause you need to hear it. The work needs spread out and you need to devote yourself to your wife. She needs your tender heart.
