been labile
I've had a really labile mood lately. I have felt everything to the extreme. It's been awful
and scary. I am trying to put a logic to it and gain some relief- what most comes to mind is that I just need to
treat taking care of life - and tending to my mental life as part of the take care every day. There may not be room
for much else.
Work allows me a focus though invasive thoughts happen - but not as much as when I am not working.
So, as I started to drive home this morning - I noticed my mind started speeding up - and kind of
'grasping at straws' to have a focus I suppose or something to hold on to. I realized that I can't just let go
and be myself. My emotions get too extreme - The past couple of days I have been responding with great
darkness - and it's been scary. I suppose I am sharing this, in the hopes that it's just useful information.
Suncloud also posted about the idea of "Life being service." I am trying to find a similar silver lining.
My life is about handling my mental state. It's very very frustrating and difficult but I suppose that
'framing' just reminds me to keep 'in check' - 'on track' - and so forth.

Marky..... I know that you've been feeling rough lately sweetie... If you need to see your pdoc earlier then the end of the month.... I'd give him a call...… Big hug and a blessing my friend.....xo
thanks Jan. I made a phone appointment with him for later today. You read my mind! :) xx
Ya got me scrabbling for my dictionary again, you labile questioner, you. Good word. How appropriate that "labile" is so under used that it is not a labile word. I couldn't find a single slang usage attached to it. I like consistency. The lability of turn of the millennium culture is chaotic.
Ya also got me remembering a classic debate in the nerd happy hours of my college and early engineering career. Can logical methodology be plied to emotions? I still vote, "No." It makes more sense to sign a bald eagle up for trigonometry class. Accepting my emotions as unpredictable forces of nature makes it easier to ply logic to the decision of what to do with those pesky details that live beyond my control.
Just curious. . . Have you been reading Reader's Digest? Been a while since I've seen one and I rather miss the "It Pays to Increase Your Word Power" pages.
for some reason I have started to get a daily email from this site. I don't remember signing up but it's fun
nonetheless: https://www.wordgenius.com/
Hope your talk with your pdoc went well.
