beautiful problems

I came home from work today - feeling pretty self destructive.

I tried to find some relaxation and equilibrium and I did.

I seemed to have had to accept some darkness within me

but overarching was the spirit of love.

I talked to my Dad who is to me a very great man.
We each have our problems and things that we find difficult to cope

with. The thought came to me about what pressure his mother - who was

very abusive to him and his father was very distant - and
I thought about how his reaction was in raising us..

and coping with us - and our issues all 7 of us - and health issues.. He is a great man to me.

I feel so lucky.

Hola Marcos,
Your Pops sounds like a special person <3
You know it’s interesting where you said “I seemed to have had to accept some darkness within me, but overarching was the spirit of love” ....I feel like I can kind of understand that but don’t know how to explain it exactly

Sending support, hope, hot chocolate & many prayers
Big hug <3

within the overused light/dark judgements/analogies, i often see water color paintings with no darkness, whatsoever, in them. they look washed out with no substance, whatsoever. i wouldn't waste my wall space on them.

making friends with the dark colors gives form, shape and character.

but i'll buy the notion of overarching in the spirit of love.
