Be VERY careful out there, something happened,,,

Yesterday I was driving, and came to a light, so I stopped.  Out of nowhere, a woman comes over and starts tapping on my window.  It was in a remote area, parks on both sides of street.  There was no way in the world that I was going to open my car window to talk to her.  It would have been a darn shame if she needed help, but I wasn't taking a chance, I was alone in a quiet area, and not with all that is going on.  Someone tapped on my car window years ago and it wasn't good, so I wasn't ever going to do that again.

Later that day my sister called and also told me a creepy story.  She said that a man approached her while she was getting gas at a gas station.  Said his car broke down and he was in trouble and could she help him, give him a few bucks.  She wasn't about to open her wallet in front of him, so she didn't, said she just had enough for gas.

Shortly after she went in to pay for the gas, his car was gone when she came out, along with another car that was parked next to it.  She thinks that guy had an accomplice with him in the other car, and they were going to rob her, as miraculously, his car was fine as he was able to drive it out.

Everyone, be careful out there.  Now the nuts are out.  Here in NYC, they let out a lot of people in prison on low level crimes to avoid the spread of Cov19.  That means they're out on the streets, along with the crazies and desperate people.  Be careful!!

Even in the best of times I would not stop. Most people have cell phones. I have a sign in the car that says 'Call Police" that I can put in the window if I need help. I don"t trust strangers.

I can't believe they released inmates. Where are they going to go? Stay Safe, Strong & Healthy! Hugs! Brooke

Yep they sure did release inmates here. And like you said, where are they going to go? There sure as heck isn't any housing due to the virus. That means they're out on the street robbing people. Careful out there!

Good advice. The countries of the virus are in chaos.

They let out a bunch of low level crime inmates here too in Philly, just what we need, more criminals on the street. And they announced that thye won't be arresting anyone for petty crimes, great right!!! Now they are free to do as they please :-(
It's a scary world we live in as it is and now even scarier with this virus.
Glad you didn't roll down your window
