Bagels and the homeless guys
I was looking all over for my bagels that I eat every morning and couldn't find them. I searched and I searched but nothing. Finally I get out the receipt and didn't even buy bagels. I swear, my memory is getting worse and worse.
I normally see this guy, Carl, on the side of the road. I give him food and drinks some times. I was going for my walk and he was there with a friend. I just talked to them for a while and it was cool. Most people don't even bother to look at homeless people.... I gave them both hugs. Treated them like the human they are. You have to look past the outside to get what is truly important.

Thanks, all! I don\'t do it for any other reason than just treat others like they treat me. I\'m an atheist so I don\'t \"have\" to do good things, I do them because this is the only life we have and we need to celebrate it, and the people around you.
maybe you should do social work larissa. its wonderful that you can do that. you could start with catholic charities as a counselor or something. the pay is low, but you have it in you. wow! catholic charities has shelters, mostly for kids, i don\'t know about the homeless but probably them as well.
you are on a lot of meds. could be what is messing with your memory. also if you feel foggy headed try potassium - they sell it in the vitamin aisle. its very helpful.
