Badabing
I couldn't think of a title, but I HAD to put something!
I'm a little flustered tonight, more with myself then anything. Joey and his dad have been doing a repair in the kitchen, one I asked for, and it's taken them two weeks. I've been so patient. Constantly sweeping up sawdust, turning a blind eye to all the tools that clutter my counters, even grudgingly accepting when they emptied out drawers of stuff and just tossed it all over the counter and floor. But I would be lying if I said it wasn't bothering me a bit, just that I had it in check.
Then tonight I come home from my nail appointment and Joey has the house in shambles. Not just my kitchen, though in there there was the addition of a sink full of dishes. But flyers, toys, blanket and pillow, garbage and cookie crumbs on the living room floor. The bathroom floor is sopping and Marlows bath toys and his and her dirty clothes are sitting in puddles on the floor. So I calmly ask him to clean up with me. I do the toys, the blanket, the pillow, the clothes, the water on the floor, I vaccuum up the crumbs. He picks up the garbage and flyers. And his idea of cleaning them up? Just dumping them on the kitchen table for me to deal with! And I got angry and snapped at him.
Weeks of patience and trying to pick and choose my fights and I get upset over the usual mess. I just feel like I took a step back tonight, that is all. :)

Hopefully - no offense - but geez - he should have just put it in the garbage himself... kind of crazy. I can see why it would have set you off. Did he have a different way of thinking about it though? Hope you can keep your patience - I know it can be hard! (((HUGS)))
