Bad evening yesterday

It's almost 3 am and I can't find it in me to fall asleep. Is it any wonder ? After all, how do you sleep after having the evening I had yesterday ? 

I was simply starting to make dinner, while " He " was playing a video game, when all of a sudden things went from calm / normal to a living nightmare of rage - in the blink of an eye ! It all started with him saying that the " stinky " smell coming from the oven burner - underneath the pan of pasta that I was cooking - was giving him a " headache " he said ! So naturally I TRIED to talk to him about it.... trying to explain that I would cook the pasta on a different burner, BUT that I couldn't help that the smell had " already " happened.... and that I did NOT know that it would do that ! BUT... He barely let me get 2 of those words out before he RUSHED OVER to me in a hellish fit of RAGE ! I tried to stay out of his way, but apparently it wasn't good enough for him since he decided to PUNCH ME on my LEFT ARM THREE TIMES IN THE SAME SPOT !!!!! ... It felt like he was trying to punch his fist THREW my arm !.... OR even trying to BREAK my arm with his punch ! All I knew was that he punched my arm so hard it felt like someone slammed a chunk of concrete into the side of my arm as hard as they could... 3 times ! 

His ONLY excuse for this was because of the " smell " that came from the burner ! This was something I had NO CONTROL OVER ! ... But did that matter to him ? OH HELL NO !!!!!! ... Even later on that evening when he had calmed down, I tried to talk to him reasonably about it. I told him that I had NO IDEA that the burner would " stink " like that when I started cooking. But that wasn't good enough for him. He said that I should have " checked " for anything that would have " burned " when the burner was turned on, and cleaned UNDERNEATH the burner BEFORE starting to cook ! I told him I hadn't seen ANYTHING underneath the burner that looked like it would burn.... but the attitude he gave me back at this point told me that he STILL did NOT feel this was a good and realistic answer. I was telling him the honest truth, but he acted like I was lying to him ! ... which I was NOT ! ... So I ended up telling him that from now on to be " SAFE " I'll just use ONE of the OTHER burners instead ! This way I'll avoid the same problem... hopefully ! Of course he tried to make it sound " easy " ... saying that HE cleaned underneath the burner, and then it was fine..... BUT that's EASY for him to say when he does NOT have someone that threatens to HURT YOU if you don't do something PERFECTLY ! I'm SO SICK OF THIS... SICK OF LIVING IN FEAR... SICK OF GETTING HURT FOR THINGS I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER.... IT'S NOT RIGHT... NOT RIGHT AT ALL !!!!!
