Back to journeling...

I really believe I was doing a lot better with my thinking when I was writing in this journal every day, so here I am again.
Whatever comes to my mind at the moment is what I will write about.  It's just something that is therapeutic to me and I know many others.  It keeps me straight and on the right track with my thinking.  Reading some of the postings tonight I realize just what a serious problem this can be... it causes so much pain and anguish... it simply isn't worth doing (just for the "fun" of it).   Ultimately, there IS no fun in it... it's a bad sickness. ... some of the things I hear make me really really dislike the casinos as much as I loved them at one time... it completely changes my thinking.  I have been very fortunate that I didn't allow myself to get to the point of some, relatively speaking, but feel so bad when I read the stories.
It's so important to change, but so difficult at times to do... we all understand the difficulty and hard work involved, but it is very much worth it.
Hope everyone is doing well... as I said, back to journeling... usually about nothing significant :]  but if it helps, that's all that counts.

I can remember when it was fun. I was married, and he was earning the money I was throwing away. I sure think twice when it is my money. lol. Anyway, it was a long time ago and then it wasn\'t fun. It was like going to a job that you hate. You have to do it and hope for the best but the big percentage of the time it was bad. There was a drive to earn money or get some back you lost the day before. All misconceptions, especially in the slot machine. Odds are you are going to lose.
