Baby Kitty
Rescued a kitten today. The pet doling gods saw fit for us to get a new furr baby I guess. Fiance went to run an errand and came back in a couple minutes. Said he found a blind kitten wandering around in the middle of the road. Gave her 3 baths and treated her eyes. She had some milk and a nap. She is really sweet. Spoiled already. I named her Evie because she kinda reminds me of the Pokemon. Looks like she might be long haired when she grows a bit. She is about the size of a big mouse lol.

She isn't blind. She just couldn't see when he found her because she has an upper respiratory infection and her eyes were crusted shut. After washing her face with a hot washcloth, putting contact solution in her eyes, and eye ointment, she can see a little bit. Lucky he found her before she got ran over. Main thing now is to get her eating. She just wants milk so far between naps. Mom is going to take her to the vet tomorrow to get dewormed and flea treatment.

Well guys, she woke me up last night crying. Couldn't get her to eat, she just wanted held. She stays in her box but gets lonely after awhile. My other indoor cat is afraid of her. And probably jealous.
It's funny I never go out looking for pets, they just show up. Mom isn't thrilled about another cat, less thrilled about taking her to the vet, but I can't miss work. I hope it doesn't cost too much.
Yes Bill pretty sure it's a girl even tho she is prob 5 weeks old if that. It's pretty easy to tell. Just look under the tail and locate the butt hole. Under that there will be another shape. If it is round, it's a boy. If it is a v shaped slit, well that's a pussy lol. If it's a bigger kitten and not long haired it will be easy to identify balls on a male.
Anyway, I really hope she gets ok and also I need to take care of my other girls. I think Lucinda has a bladder infection and Polly still has fleas despite repeated treatment and baths. My kickboxing class is cancelled tonight so I got work to do I guess.

Polly and Lucinda are cats. Polly never goes outside. She is a pink and blue Maine coon tortoise shell mix lol. Lucinda, Lucy for short, is a lilac tortie point Siamese with pale blue eyes. She goes out in summer because she doesn't like the air conditioning.
I have a very old black lab mix named Daisy. She stays in her dog house on the porch unless it's very cold or storming. She likes cats. Daisy's best friend is a little old black cat named Tooty. She thinks she is a dog too lol. Then there is an old Tom that stays on our porch since the neighbors moved and left him behind. We call him Simba.
So we got a full house and porch lol.
