Awaiting an unwanted visitor
Ok Irma, you are NOT wanted here!!!!
We did in fact evacuate! Why take a chance with my life and my family's lives when I've been given a 2nd chance. It's going to be uncomfortable and we are going to get on each other's nerves but no one says that evacuating is fun.
I had 3 boys so being stuck in a small office with 3 teenage girls, a sister in law, my son, my husband and 2 dogs is going to be nerve wracking to say the least, thank God for Xanax (kidding and not kidding)
We have started getting some rain bands and slight wind increase today but tonight and tomorrow is when it's going to be bad. Keep us and all of Florida and south Georgia where I am in your thoughts and prayers as we endure this hateful witch!! She needs to go back to her husband and take Jose with her!!!

I'm glad you all got out of there. It's hard to leave everything behind but that all can be replaced. You all can't. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

We are all great and have power now (as of today) I know I will never take it for granted ever again. It was a very eerie night during that storm and had my anxiety completely through the roof. Ended up hitting the Xanax, even though I was trying not to, just to be able to sleep. Thanks for all the encouraging words and your thoughts and prayers for me and my family <3
