That I know everyone has moments like that. Ive had struggles with staying in the moment at times with my family this trip.
I was thinking about my therapist’s experience of being with family that she shared with me.and it was totally affirming and relatable to the point of normalizing.
I thanked my Dad for being understanding
He said he does understand and he knows me so don’t worry about it.

I'm so glad that you had some family time sweetie
It's different when you take a trip to visit
Now you have to stay at their home so it's not the same as having your own place to retreat to
