At the clinic with Lisa
Today Lisa had a physical at the clinic I volunteer at, so I went with her. She got into the room fast (like 10 minutes from sign in to being in a room) but then we had an hour wait for the doctor to come. It was nice.. it was just her and I talking about relationships and other random stuff. She came out healthy, which is good too. After the doctor left, a woman came in and gave us information about breast health. Not too much that I didn't know, but some interesting things (like how men get breast cancer sometimes) things were discussed. I walked to the clinic in the heat, but then when I left it was about to storm, so it was cooler and windy. I came home and got on the computer. I made dinner (cube steak, brown gravy and mashed potatoes) and then Geo and I watched some TV. I went for a walk after dinner and I managed to get my time to 20 minutes flat for a mile. I normally do 22-21 minute miles but I wanted to push myself. I walk along a well lit bike trail by a busy street, but there are barricades from the street to the sidewalk, so someone can't just come and grab me. It's nice to be out, even if the bugs are out too.
I talked with the podiatrist and she said that she ordered was supposed to be for the ankle since it gives her the view she wanted. I hope I don't have to get another MRI. I'm sick of doctors, dentists, and all that stuff. I just want to get back to my normal life of going to bed at 11, waking up at 10 and going to the aerobics class at 11:30, then volunteer, then come home and make dinner. That's what I'm working on. even so, I do try and get my walks in for some sanity.

sounds like a pretty good day, it is interesting learning new medical info. you had 2 walks in and that is great. I so understand you wanting life to be back to normal, when life is out of whack, it is so unnerving. im happy your dr. told you why she did the mri the way she did, and I hope you can end this cycle of doctors. many hugsss
How nice you had a visit with a friend...great way to do that \"when is the doctor coming\" wait.
Have a great weekend!
Great job with the 20 min. mile & trying to walk every night. Sounds like a nice place to walk.
I hope your doctor see the MRI and knows what\'s wrong, so you dont\' need anymore MRI\'s. Good luck.
Have a great wekeend
