At the car dealership

For some reason I always get a sinking feeling when I get my car serviced.
Such a quality of 'over charging' for everything.

I only got a couple of things done today but I'll have to make an appointment to get the other things fixed.

I feel the same way! Dread state inspections. Also, when I go in for an oil change, they try to get me to do a lot of other more expensive things. I've only had one place where I truly trusted them, but I no longer have that make of car.

i know my mechanic anxiety is from that repressed awareness that when it comes to my automotive romance, even something as basic as an oil change has a way of generating high dollar and higher nuisance repair drama.

why can't you be as trouble free as your car commercial, my 4 wheeled stud?
all my vehicles are male. i find men much easier to drive than women.

thanks gr8ful1! thanks Arfie!! That's an interesting gender reference to your car...maybe
you come with the "Punch and Judy" complex? hehe Just kidding... But Judy really REALLY liked
to ride Punch all day long! :) She smacked him in the head with her rolling pin or wooden spoon!

i'm not too familiar with punch and judy but i'm one of those drivers who is so easy on my guys that they last way longer than average. hubs, too. 42 years and he's still purring like the hottest stud in the pasture.

ya catch more flies with honey than vinegar, even mechanical ones.

for what it's worth
the origin of my calling my vehicles, "he" generated from working as a mechanic and wanting to irritate the co-workers who don't get to purr in my lap.
