At my Mom's
I got to my mom's on Saturday. They had a party for my mom's birthday (tomorrow) and it was fun. I've been a bit tired, but I'm having a good time. The only thing I'm worried about is that last night my mom fell and didn't even cry for help. I heard her fall and rushed to her but I couldn't help her up. We had to call her husband to help her up. She is alone all the time and doesn't want to do Life Alert, so I told her to keep her cell phone on her at all times. Geo went to the doctor today and he's down to 523 pounds. He's not losing weight as fast as he should since he doesn't follow his diet. I worry about his food choices for when I'm here. But he is an adult and so I can't do anything about it. he knows how I feel, and doesn't want to hear it anymore. Anyway, it's time for me to go so I can spend some time with my mom.

so happy you are at your moms! that was scary with her falling, does she fall a lot? I hope she keeps her cell with her all the time, is there a reason she doesn\'t want life alert? what a shame about geo, I am glad you are not talking to him about it, you are right, he is a grown man and it is his life to live. I come back on Monday night. My mom doesn\'t want Life Alert because it\'s too expensive. They tried Life Alert on my step-grandmother so my mom knows all about it.
Life alert is pricey and its not fool proof anyway. My Gma had it...and she didnt have it on when she was in the restroom and had a heart attack and died. They found her a few days later. It was so sad and upsetting. Cell phone and also checking in with someone morning and night so if they dont call you know to notify someone. As for Geo Im so sorry to hear he\'s not doing well the diet..its so frustrating when people we love dont love themselves enough to get help and do whats best for them so they can live a happier healthier life.

Travel safe back home! Hopefully you and family can figure out some way to have daily contact with Mom to know she is OK or not.

i think life alert for your mom is a good idea. is she dizzy from medication or from something medical? the cell phone with her all the time is also a good idea, but the life alert is easier as its worn as a necklace. does she realize this? does she fall a lot?
what does it feel like to be 60? i think 20 is a HUGE birthday because the person is no longer a teen and i think 50 is a HUMUNGOUS birthday, i make fun of steven with it alllll the time, because lets be honest, 50 is OLD and there is no way around it. for steven i do a 49 + one and 49 + two and so on, the same way people used to do 29 back in the 70\'s. i think people also become proud at 50, as in amazed they are still alive, and in florida 55 is considered a senior citizen for most things. actually, some things, 40 and up is a senior citizen. lol. but florida is a \"different\" kind of place and very special. lol.
